Sirinanda Thero is graduated this week after a successful completion of the Masters degree in religious studies focusing on Buddhism, carving a new landmark in the history of Canadian universities. Rev. Thero is the very first Theravada Buddhist monk to obtain a Masters degree in that discipline from a university in entire Atlantic Canada. This is a highly remarkable and immeasurable accomplishment not only to our Thero and our community, but also to the entire Atlantic region.  

Special Shubhasinsana Puja held in the temple to congratulate and bless the Thero for his great success. on 22th January 2017 .
