Unity Vesak 2018
Celebrating Buddha’s 2562nd Birthday!
You are cordially invited to be an eyewitness to this historical and auspicious celebration, which commemorates the Birth, Enlightenment and Death (Parinibbana) of Buddha. This is the first Vesak day celebration in the history of Atlantic Canada that jointly organized by all major Buddhist groups in Nova Scotia representing all three Buddhist traditions.
The program includes:

- # Bathing of baby Buddha
- # Cultural performances, and traditional dances and songs
- # Free food including a Birthday cake and cultural food
- # Chanting for world peace
