Learn Mindfulness in 8 Weeks

Discover the power of mindfulness through a practical, beginner friendly program offered by the Atlantic Buddhist Society. This 8-week mindfulness series is designed to help you reconnect with the present moment, reduce stress, and cultivate calm and clarity even amid busy work and family life.

The program is conducted by Bhante Sirinanda, Bhante Piyarathana, and Bhante Sudhamma, Buddhist monks with nearly 30 years of combined experience in mindfulness practice, meditation instruction, spiritual guidance, and community service. Their teachings draw from authentic Buddhist wisdom while remaining accessible, practical, and relevant to everyday life.

Each session offers simple mindfulness techniques that can be applied immediately at work, at home, and in relationships. No prior meditation experience is required.

You will learn how to:

  • Improve focus and mental clarity under pressure
  • Manage stress and anxiety more effectively
  • Develop emotional awareness and compassionate communication
  • Cultivate a calmer, more intentional approach to daily life

Sessions are offered in person in Halifax or online, making it easy to participate from anywhere.
